Plant protection applications in Kayseri province: problems and solution suggestions

One of the important components of agriculture is plant protection. Yield loss caused by insect pests, diseases and weeds in our country is about 30- 40% and it may increase up to 100% when appropriate plant protection measures are not applied. This yield loss is average 42% in the world and has been increased year after year because importance has not been attached to plant protection. In this article, plant protection applications in Kayseri Province are summarized, some important problems are detailed and solutions to the problems are discussed with practical suggestions.
