Abstract :
In this study, a hybrid technique called as A wot Technique was applied to increase the benefit availability, applicability, effectiveness and ability of Swot analysis applications. In this context, a widely used method of decision analysis method, the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), are integrated with Swot analysis. As a result of the combined use of AHP and swot, swot groups, and each swot factors within the group for the importance of status, enabling quantitative measurements are made available. So that, each Swot groups with Swot factors are determined as a numerical value of the property of their priorities and their order of importance is placed. Accordingly, the current alternative strategies to be followed for decision-making problem in a clear manner and the most appropriate alternative strategies are being put forward are selected. With this study, the advantages, weaknesses, threats and opportunities of Erciyes University Department of Industrial Engineering, as well as through the Swot analysis has been put forward. Then, findings obtained with multi-criteria assessment approach AHP was evaluated in comparison with the values and priorities of each were calculated. And finally, based on numerical evidence drawn attention to weaknesses and the current status of the section have been put forward.
