Stability analyses of the karacangaç hill landslide (SE Armutçuk)
Abstract :
The goal of this study is to examine Karacangaç Hill landslide, happened in February-March 2000, using the Janbu Method. The geological and geotechnical studies were carried out in the formation including landslide and material of landslide. The analytical model of landslide was performed and the safety factor of the slope was calculated with back analysis using the computer program Slope (7.01). Since landslide was occurred, safety factor have to under 1 (Fs 1) and the angle of internal friction (φ) have to 0, 1, 2 or 3. It is concluded that being said potential landslides may occur beside Karacangaç Hill landslide.
