Title Of Article :
Dyeing of wool fabrics with dyes obtained from plant yarrow and spectrophotometric analysis
Abstract :
The structure of the plant known as yarrow, contains a lots of chemical like a achilleine, apigenin, azulene, camphor, coumarin, inulin, menthol, querceti, rutin, and salicylic acid but guerceti is the main component of the yarrow which containing the dye. In this study paint a similar feature, which shows guerceti and staining properties were investigated using the woolen fabrics. Woolen fabric made of pre-mordanting process before painting. Copper sulphate, iron sulphate, alum, tin (II) chloride, and potassium dichromate violet agent is used. The samples were stained with natural dyes sources of color yields Konika / Minolta (3600d) reflectance spectroscopy using software Realcolor K/S values were obtained. Calculated according to the equation of Kubelka-Munk K/S value is interpreted and CIELAB was determined The painting and color tones are satisfactory measurements were obtained as a result. The painting and color tones are satisfactory measurements were obtained as a result. In addition, sample washing, friction, and light fastness properties were determined. Light fastness results ranged from 4-6. washing and rubbing fastness is satisfactory and ranged from 4-5. Result of the measures reached a satisfactory conclusion.
