Title Of Article :
Investigation of dyeing kinetic according to amount the dye and salt on reactive dyeing of knitted cotton fabrics
Abstract :
Reactive dyestuffs constitute an important class of dyestuff in dyeing cellulosic based fabrics with such advantages as high wet fastness, extensive colour palletes and suitability to a great number of dyeing methods. Reactive dyes and cotton fibers reach an anionic character by dissolving in water. By eliminating the negative charge in order to make dyestuffs to be absorbed by fibers, salt is added into the dye bath. In this study, with Denactive Red BRN dyestuff, used commercially, %100 cotton knitted fabric are dyed with three different dyeing percentage and three different salt concentration. During the process of dyeing, by making UV-vis permeability colour measurement colouring graphs are attained. For dyestuff chosen according to colouring kinetics, drawing between %83-95 is reached.
