Effect of Pediococcus acidilactici suplementation in diet on growth and survival rate of angel fish (Pterophyllum scalare Lictenstein, 1823)
Abstract :
In this study, effects on feed conversion ratio, specific growth rate and survival rate of Pediococcus acidilactici MA 18/5M (Bactocell®) addition in different ratio to angel fish diet (Pterophyllum scalare Lictenstein, 1823) were investigated. In this study was used angelfish that average weight was 0.14±0.003 g and total length 2.09±0.04 cm. Experiment diets were prepared by adding bactocell (1% -1%) at two different levels to angelfish diet. The experiment groups were fed as 3 replicates during 90 days. According to the results of this study; there is no positive effects use of Pediococcus acidilactici MA 18/5M (Bactocell®) on growth performance, feed conversion ratio and survival of angelfish.
