Abstract :
The effects of the Standardized Building and Zoning Regulation (SBZR) on the urban planning and architectural design have been very arguable recently based on current building conditions. The effects of the Standardized Building and Zoning Regulation on the urbanization, its mode of application, and validity are not within the scope of this study. The questionable aspects of the SBZR (its effects on urbanization, way of practice, mechanism, effectiveness etc.) are left out of the framework of the assay; instead, providing an easier way to evaluation of current situation is the main goal of the study. Moreover, even though it employs the Standardized Building and Zoning Regulation as a basis, the paper does not aim to criticize it. The software presented in the study was developed to present the outcomes of Standardized Building and Zoning Regulation to urban planners and designers. The designed program would provide a vision for practical results of Standardized Building and Zoning Regulation through manipulations on the parameters, contribute to the end product and accelerate the design-calculation processes. In another words, the aims of the software are, to lessen the burden of SBZR and other building and urban regulations on architects and urban planners, avoid the otherwise necessary calculations therefore gain time, offer a variety of solutions, and most important of all, present the models of would-be building conditions and alternatives.
