Abstract :

The quality of urban life is increasing when all individuals are benefiting from the all opportunities and interact with all these opportunities commensurably. In owing of the fact that individuals be marginalized as disabled or not, all opportunities of urban life could have not benefit by all individuals. Each healthy people might be a disabled candidate, considering that being disabled is not actually in anyone s hands. Disabled people whose right of usage are put under protection by law could access by oneself all common spaces as much as there is the right of usage of common spaces by healthy people. Because in universal designs, right of access of equitable use is ignore and all designs for which disabled people are not considered transform problem spaces, disabled people have some new problems. In this case, built environment or spaces could be only accessible, which is not enough, they are to be accessible quite easily for disabled users as other users. In this case, the selected sample of this study that is Konya Kent Plaza Shopping Mall is one of the prestige construction of Konya is examined for creating new perspective in the interest of the solution of access problems of public spaces as shopping malls for disabled people in terms of that circulation scenario has planned for disabled people according to questionnaire and national and global disable design standards.
