Abstract :
As a result of systemic and local factors such as early tooth loss, periodontal diseases, tumor resection, advanced horizontal and vertical bone resorption in the alveolar structure may occur. Surgical and prosthetic rehabilitation management of patients with highly resorbed toothless maxilla can be very difficult. Zigoma implants are an alternative, although various methods have been used to increase bone volume in order to successfully provide prosthetic rehabilitation of advanced atrophic maxilla. In this manuscript, we presented a case report of a zygomatic implant surgery of a 62-year-old female patient at Fırat University Faculty of Dentistry Department of Periodontology. Four zygomatic implant were implemented under the local anesthesia successfully.
