Abstract
Exploitation of mine deposits with efficiency way has great importance. Production rate is one of the most important factors effecting the profitability level of mine projects. Projec costs affecting the profitability are determined as related with cutoff grade and reserve by yearly production rate. Optimum production amount is a rate at which project profit is maximized taking account time value of money. In this study, methods of optimum production rate using discounted cash flows and behavior of profit function are investigated with an application of a mine deposit.
