Abstract
Within the last thirty years, Turkey has acquired a remarkable success in world tourism. Undoubtfully, tourism sector employees have an essential role in this success. But it is more likely to say that this success is failed to be reflected into life conditions of tourism employees.,In this respect, trade unions which are active in tourism sector have important responsibilities. However, unionization is very ineffective in tourism industry and trade unions’ image has impact on weak unionization. In this study, undergraduate tourism students trade union perceptions have been examined. The research was implemented on 253 undergradute students, from different tourism programs in any state university. At the end of the research, it has been acquired that undergraduate students trade union perception is not positive enough and their perceptions differ depending on their diverse demographic characteristics.
