1304 Cairo Earthquake and Its Effects in The Mamluk Era
Abstract :
Natural diseases including earthquakes are the realities that human-kind has faced throughout the history. On the one hand it converting cities to the wreckage on the other hand it brings to a standstill to the daily life. As a result, new cities are built and new living areas are established. The earthquake which was experienced in Egypt 23 Zilhicce 703/27 July 1304 Thursday morning were highly effective in Cairo and following Egypt, Syria and even in East Mediterranean Region. We will analyze the subject-matter earthquake in the chain of successively over the past decade occurred incidents including natural diseases and political-military developments.
