Title Of Article :
Effect of Different Sowing Dates on Yield and Yield Components of False Flax (Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz) under Ankara Condition
Abstract :
The research was conducted to determine the plant hight (cm), 1000 seed weight (g), seed yield (kg/da) and oil content (%) of different sowing dates in false flax (Camelina sativa (L.) Crantz) sown in 2010 and 2011 under Ankara ecolojical condition. In this study the experimental design was randomised complete block design with three replications. In research, differences in the plant hight (cm), 1000 seed weight (g), seed yield (kg/da) and oil content (%) were founded among the different sowing dates. The highest values of the plant hight (cm), seed yield (kg/da) and oil content (%) were obtained from the first sowing date. In contrast, the highest value of 1000 seed weight (g) was obtained from the second sowing date in 2010 and 2011. The results showed that the determine of the best suitable sowing date is important for cultivation of Camelina sativa L. under Ankara ecolocical condition.
