Abstract :
This study was conducted to determine the effect of sowing date on yield and yield components of some bread wheat cultivars under Tokat-Kazova ecological conditions. As the sowing time delayed yields of varieties (P 0.01), heading date (P 0.01), heading date-maturity date (P 0.01), maturity date (P 0.01), plant height (P 0.05), seed weight per ear (P 0.05) and number of ears per square-meter (P 0.01) decreased. Thus, it can be suggested that sowing of wheat should be 1-30 October.
