A study on the some characteristics of rooting of green cuttings of the some clonal rootstock ın mist propogation

This study was carried out in 2010. Green rooting characteristics of clonal rootstocks Marianna GF 8-1, St. Julien, Garnem, SL-64 were determined in perlit rooting medium with IBA control (0), 2000, 3000, 4000 ppm treatments at different dosages in mist system. Some charesteristics like; “callus ratio of cuttings, ratio of rooting, number of average root, length of average root, quality of root, ratio of alive cutting, ratio of avaliable arboriculture” are seperately evaluated. Based on the results of the study, 90,00 % rooting was obtained in St. Julien, Marianna GF 8-1 and SL-64 rootstock at 3000 ppm IBA application. On the other hand, 86,67 % rooting was obtained in Garnem clonal rootstock at 4000 ppm IBA application.
