Almon Polynomial Technique Approach of Product-Price Relationship (Paddy of Samsun Province Case)

In time series econometrics, the models are available that not only the present value oft he explanatory variables but also allows to investigate of the previous periods. One of the econometrics models is Almon Model.In this study, production-price relationship of paddy in Samsun province has been studied by Almon Model.Research period includes between 1993-2013 years. According to model results, product of paddy in Samsun province is affected by “t”, “t-1” and “t-2” period price. “t” period prices affect product negatively, “t-1” and “t-2”period prices positive influences. In this study, Cobweb Theorem was seen in economics theory, requirement of the production plan has emerged. When the product plan, that actively operation of cases such as producer organizations, cooperatives and support factors of government can assessment as proposal. Thus, ensuring price stability both product more clearly foreseeable and such as supply and demand excessive undesired results can be prevent.
