Abstract :
This study was interviewed with all beekeepers registered to the farmer registration system, in the Central District of Tokat Province. Data were collected from 114 apiculture farms by direct personal interwiew.Research result showed that %56,48 of the producers involved in the research want to make organicproduction.Moreover, %75,45 of the producers involved in the research have course document and %61,82 of the producers are members of beekeepers union. Averege honey production per colonie was determined as 18,79 kg. It was determined that beekeepers have faced some problems in production, marketing, disease and pest management ,etc. Chi-square and Probit Models were used as Statistical analysis of data. There is a statistically significant relation between education level, age of producers, number of colonies and having course document and organic production level. The research results showed that numbers of colonies, beekeeping in the region, producers beekeeping related source tracker, Beekeepers Union significantly influence organic production making.
