Title Of Article :
In Situ Rumen Degradability of Organic Matter and Crude Protein of Forages from Fertilized Pasture with Different Nitrogen Doses
Abstract :
This study was conducted to determine organic matter (OM), crude protein (CP) contents, in situ rumen degradability and degradability characteristics of pasture forage be composed approximately 85 % legume and 15 % grass ratio, with fertilized different nitrogen (N) doses (0, 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 kg ammonium nitrate da^-1). In this study, three rumen fistulated Holstein Friesian heifers were used. It was determined that increasing N doses increased organic matter (OM), hemicelluloses rate (P 0.01) of legume- grass forage and crude protein of grass (P 0.05). It was determined that there was a linear (P 0.01, R^2=0.39) and quadratic (P 0.01, R^2=0.52) very important relationship between OM degradability of rangeland forage and nitrogen doses. Besides, It was found that there was a linear positive relationship (P 0.05, R^2=0.27) between out flown rate (k=0.02 h^-1) of CP and effective rumen degradability of CP with the nitrogen doses. The results of this study indicated that organic matter and hemicellulose content of pasture forage with crude protein content of grass increased, depending on nitrogen application levels.
