Satisfaction Levels of Hospitalized Patients in Care of Nursing in aUniversity Hospital and Some Related Factors

This descriptive study was made to determine patients’ satisfaction levels of the nursing care they took and the factors that associated. The sample survey was carried out on 211 patients. The Personal nformation Form and Servquel Scale were used as data collection tools. Student t, One-Way Anova, Mann Whitney U, and Kruskall Wallis test were used in statistical analysis. In this study, satisfaction levels of patients about nursing care were found low. In service areas, patients’ highest expectations are to give a immediate care when a nurse needed in an emergency situation, a correct treatment of a nurse practice and to be clean and well maintained with the relevant areas. The areas that patients found most important are the services were found to be a nurse and a reliable ability to accurately and nurse with the knowledge, respect and empathy-building features. The areas that patients found secondly important are knowledge degrees of nurses and the respect which nurses show to patients and help features. The service area which has the least importance according to research is physical facilities.
