Abstract
Global changes in economic, social and cultural life and scientific and tecnological devices pave the way for contries’s health politics. They result in changes in the health profesion’s responsibilities and duties. Nurses have active position in development and protection of the women health. They diagnose and treat disease and provide rehabilitation services when they are necessary. Their responsibilities and duties also change regarding today’s knowledge. Related to these changes and developments, all of the health workers should be pledged by laws. In this article from past to present in our country the mother-child health nursing services, health care and maternal and child health nursing is discussed under the philosophy of the legislation will be reviewed and suggestions were made to eligibility
