Abstract
Patient s sexual health and sexual concerns assessment counseling are part of the nurse’s professional role and holistic care, but few nurses integrate this awareness into practice. Most of nurses were reluctant to discuss sexuality with their patients. The purpose of this review is to assess the barriers faced by nurses that restrict to assess the sexuality of the patient and to make suggestions that overcome these obstacles to improve nurses sense of comfort and confidence needed.
