Abstract :
Objective: The aim of this study was to evaluate the applications nurses working in a public hospital formally started to use the nursing process in patient care. Method: The study population consisted of the nurses who work an education hospital in Erzurum. The sample group of the study in February and March 2012 in Erzurum the education hospital employees and a total of 143 nurses who agreed to participate in the study created. Data collection instrument used in this study were prepared in the light of literature by researchers. Results: According to the study, nurses the more pain (28.7%) and increased risk of infection (22.5%) diagnoses put and 23.3% of nurses in the NANDA taxonomy outside put wrong diagnosis were found. In addition to nurses the application (25.9%) and planning (19.6%) had experienced difficulty in phase. Conclusion: In the study, the nurses problems experienced in some of the steps of the nursing process and have difficulty in diagnosis were identified.
