The Effect of the level of Anger in nurses to Job Satisfaction
Abstract :
Objective: This study was prepared descriptively with the aim of determining the effect of level of anger in nurses to job satisfaction. Method: Research is done on 165 nurses who are working in Ezincan State Hospital between the dates January 2009 and March 2009 in Erzincan State Hospital. In the research is studied 145 nurses who accepted to join the research instead of sample selection. The data were collected by means of question form, traint anger-anger expression scale and Minessota satisfaction questionnaire. Results: For nurses, it was found out that point of the trait anger was 19.48±4.27, point of the anger control was 23.30±3.97, point of the anger-out was 14.08±2.86, point of the anger-in was 15.12±3.15 and Minnesota satisfaction questionnaire was 64.74±10.96. At the result of the corelation analysis among the scales, statistically significant relation was determined between traint anger - anger expression style (p 0.001). It was found that expressing the anger in a right way increases the job satisfaction. Conclusion: According to the result of the research, it was observed that trait anger and angerexpression style of the nurses are effective on job satisfaction.
