Abstract :
Objective: This research was conducted to determine nurses sleep quality and related factors. Materials and Methods: The research was a cross-sectional study and the research population constituted 357 nurses working in Bursa Cekirge State Hospital. It was aimed to reach out all population without choosing sample however 284 (%79.5) nurses formed the sample group. Data were collected that written by the nurses who agreed to participate in the study were collected on consent. In order to collect data for the implementation of research, data collection form on certain socio-demographic characteristics of the nurses and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Scale was used. Data, IBM SPSS (version 20.0) statistical package program was evaluated. Results: The study group consisted of the 203 s (71.5%) were female. Ages ranged from 17 to 54, mean 33.1 ± 7.85 years, respectively. In our study of nurses from the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality scale was determined that [12.49 ± 5.79 (med:13; min: 0; maks: 25)] points. According to the multiple regression analysis of satisfaction with the job , a number of the congress is attended last year and the total running time is under 5 years and was determined to improve the quality of sleep of the state. Conclusion: The findings from our study indicated that nurses’ sleep quality affected by the total running time is under 5 years positively ; not satisfied with the job and working in internal-surgial and intensive care units negatively. This effectively made in accordance with the results of the employee satisfaction assessment, evaluation and implementation services from rotation recommended.
