Abstract :
Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the sociotropic and autonomic personality characteristics of high school seniors. Method: This basic aim, students, concerned the approval, the separation anxiety, to please others, personal success, freedom and loneliness like the situation with the family atmosphere was looking at the relationship between living situations of conflict. The research is a descriptive study, 2012-2013 In the last year of high school studying in Muğla center have been done with 390 students. Data collection tool as questionnaire to determine the identifying characteristics and Sociotropy-Autonomy Scale was used. Results: In the study, the mean scores of students; sociotropy at 68.50±15.60, In disapproval concerns 20:13±6.83, the separation anxiety 33.09±7.83 15.29±3.88, to please others 15.29±3.88; autonomy in 77.25±14.45; personal achievement 32.84±6.75, the freedom of 30.31±6:11, like the solitude was found to be 4.75±14:09. Some of the students was determined the high points sociotrop of they have that high points of autonomy according to the average score received from the scale. Conclusion: As a result of a significant relationship between students sociotropic-autonomic personality characteristics it has been demonstrated. Located in anxiety subscale Sociotropy approval, separation anxiety, to please others; Located in the subscale autonomy, personal success, freedom, a statistically significant association was detected between factors like loneliness. Sociotropy in girls between the sexes, men were found to have high autonomy.
