Anticoagulant Therapy: Nursing Approaches
شماره ركورد

Abstract
Coagulation causes ischemic diseases like coronary artery disease, cerebrovascular disease, and peripheral arterial disease. Anticoagulant therapy is essential in the prevention and/or non-recurrence of these diseases. Antiaggregant, anticoagulant, and antithrombotic drugs are used within the scope of therapy. Anticoagulant therapies have a number of side effects primarily like bleeding. The trainings could increase the therapy-related knowledge of patients undergoing the anticoagulant therapy, prevent the possible complications, and enable patients to manage the disease. Therefore, nurses have important roles in the treatment process of patients undergoing the anticoagulant therapy and the patient/family education.
