Abstract :
As Istanbul Police School accomplished the desired success, some police schools were started to open in some certain centres of the country by the governments of Constitutional Monarchy reign.In this direction, a police school was decided to open in Erzurum at 1911. Bedri Bey was appointed to the director of this new police school. Although he came Erzurum and was ready for his duty, the opening ceremony of this school was delayed for a while because there was no suitable building. After the solution of the problem, Erzurum Police School was able to be opened on 27 November 1911.The students of this school came from Erzurum province and its other neighbour provinces. Having a broad curriculum and teaching staff, Erzurum Police School had to put up with some difficulties during its existence. But, as a result of couraugeous works the school was able to cope with the difficulties. However, The First World War led to the end of Erzurum Police School.
