Abstract :
Antithetical voices in Turkish poetry sometimes appear as a mutual voice. They are perceived as if they are dissident to their era and authorities and are transacted so. They are thrown into prison, tortured. They come face to face with death. But, time puts the opposite situation forth. Turkish idea, science, art and literature are full of these faces and Ahmet Arif is one of them. The poet, despite all the contradictions and tragic treatments that he has been exposed, he doesn’t give up his voice and yearning of the love to values. In this work, his love and hope for Anatolia and its people will be tried to present without making concession from his own chant. In this effort, it is going to be started directly from his unaided images and the way he put forth.
