Abstract
Halit Fahri OZANSOY has been recognized as one of the “Five Poets of the Syllable” in Turkish Literature. Ozansoy, who is well known by his poems, has also wrote stage plays. Ozansoy, who wrote his pieces by patriotic sentiments, utilized from folkloric culture in plays named “Baykuş”, “Hayalet”, “İlk Şair” and “Bir Dolaptır Dönüyor”. Within this work, it is aimed to attract attention on folkloric cultural dimensions of customs and beliefs such as tomb, fairies, hair etc., where Ozansoy utilized these beliefs and customs as motives in his stage plays.
