Abstract :
In our country, the work of compiling the folklore products of the public, which started in the mid-19th century in parallel with the examples in Europe, has continued up to date, including the musical songs. As a result of these studies, whether personal or institutional, have been obtained songs belonging to the different types of Turkish music as create a musical anthology. In history of music, Darü’l Elhan is one of the institutions compiling musical songs. Darü’l Elhan has collected about 1000 folk songs through the compiling trips on different towns of the country and these folk songs have been published in 15 journals with the title “Anatolian Folk Songs”. 71 folk songs belonging to Erzurum region have been compiled during those trips, but it has been noticed by more recent researches that the inscriptions of those songs contain some errors. In this research, 71 folk songs belonging to Erzurum region in Darü’l Elhan journals have been determined as representative, and, in this context, it has been aimed to call attention to some folk songs that are exist in books published in republic period but not included in TRT Corporation Turkish Folk Songs repertoire. In the course of this research, data has been obtained using the screening model and this data has been investigated within musical analysis method. At the end of the research, 47 of 71 folk songs analysed have been understood not to have been recorded at TRT Corporation Turkish folk music repertoire, and the remaining 24 songs have been noticed to have been recorded as folk songs belonging to other towns. Considering predominant musical culture in this region into, the recorded scores of those folk songs have been retouched (repaired), new transcriptions which are thought to be more correct to be performed have been proposed. 3 of these folk songs have been represented as example.
