Abstract :
Some interesting events and debates was occured in the rural areas concerning the social reforms where had been made in The Republic Period. One of those events was The Ball Case , where was occured in the beginning of 1927s in Kastamonu. After this event, positions of Kastamonu Governor was changed. Besides that, the discussions about veiling was brouht to trial in Niğde Province. In this article reflection of social reforms to the rural areas has been analyzed within the scope of these two provinces.
