The Effects of Fertilization with Nitrogen and Phosphorus on these Elements contents of Pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) in Kahramanmaras Conditions
Abstract :
The present research was carried out in order to determine the effects of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilization on the these elements contents of red pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) grown in Kahramanmaras. The nitrogen and phosphorus were applied at the rates of 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, and 25 kg N/da, and 0, 4, 8, and 12 kg P2O5/da, respectively. The experiment was repeated twice in 2001 and 2002 growing seasons. Furthermore, it was obtained that N10 applications by comparison with control applications were significantly increased the total nitrogen contents of the leaves in 2001 and two years (p 0.01). Regarding the total phosphorus contents of the leaves were not significantly effective with fertilization.
