Title Of Article :
Determining Nutritional Status Of Gemlik Olive Cultivar Soils Grown In Orhangazi Region
Abstract :
This experiment was carried out to determine fertility status of soils in which Gemlik olive cultivar is grown in Orhangazi region. For this purpose, texture, pH, EC, organik matter, total lime, available phosphorus and exchangeable potassium of 312 soil samples were analyzed and detected. The results of the soil samples were compared with sufficiency range given for soils. In general the texture of the soils were loam and clay loam, neutral and slightly alkaline in reaction and few medium calcerous. The organic matter of the soils were medium and high. Available phosphorus content were generally sufficient and high level. The exchangeable potassium levels ranged from low to high.
