Abstract :
Hip osteoarthritis is a common disease, which can induce significant functional impotence with an impact on the quality of life of the patient. Viscosupplementation is a therapeutic method widely used in the treatment of osteoarthritis. The initial background for using such injections was to restore a deficient production of HA in osteoarthritis joints. Their clinical efficacy is still controversial. But the majority of studies shown that of HA are more efficient than a placebo for alleviating pain and its duration of action over several months is quite remarkable.
