Abstract :
Much more than just a means of communication, language synthesizes in discrete units the ancestral identity of a community. It is at the same time the memory of the cultural foundations and the soil or germinate of news of new enriching foundations of the being. In this wake and far, Toulal is a tribe where the dialect was erected repairing site of the eroded identity, quartered between Meknes in northern Morocco, land of transplantation, and Errachidia land of origin. This paper traces the facets of this restorative enterprise, and discusses a prism on the other very typical of a tribe where language is consubstantial with identity.
