Title Of Article :
A New Neurotransmitter in Female Reproductive System: Nitric Oxide
Abstract :
Female reproductive system might be affected multitude physiological factors. Recent studies focused to demonstrate the effects of chemicals on reproductive system physiology either functionally or cellularly. Nitric oxide is implicated in various functions of reproductive process such as oocyte maturation, ovulation, implantation, maintenance pregnancy and delivery. Nitric oxide, causes relaxation in blood vessel smooth muscle cells via its direct production from blood vessel endothelium and passing through from cell membrane, is able to expose different actions in female reproductive system physiologically. In this review, most common properties of nitric oxide in female reproductive system have been discussed.
