Abstract :
Ventral hernia is caused by the serious trauma that often occurs in the caudal abdomen in small animals. In this case report, abdominal muscles rupture and the synthetic mesh applied in a pregnant cat with abdominal swelling are described. In the study we aimed to emphasize the vital importance of the use of prosthetic material despite the risk of complications.
