Abstract
The aim of this study determine factors affecting failure of pesticide used in rice production, in Samsun province. Primary data that used in this research was derived from 100 questionnaires conducted in 15 villages in Alacam, Bafra and Terme districts of Sam-sun province in 2012. On the other hand also Secondary data obtained from local and for-eign public institutions and organizations. According to the results, 10 factors that factors affecting failure of pesticide used in rise production were reduced to four main factors with factor analysis. The factor scores which determined with factor analysis were divided into two by cluster analysis. Both the first cluster and the second cluster constitute about half of the main population. Most of the manufacturers in the first cluster make mistake that false pesticide welding pesticide error in due to new a pesticide used (f4). Also it was determined in most of the manufacturers in the second cluster make mistake in due to pesticide dealer give false pesticide and false recipe of used of pesticide (f3).
