The Determination of Cost Components Regarding Tractor Use in Farms in Eskisehir Province

Costs arising from the use of tractors are important. Because most of the tools and machinery used in making agricultural activities are operated by tractor. The purpose of this study was to determine the costs of tractors The cost per tractor is composed 19.07 s% of constant costs, 80.93’s% variable costs. Parameter estimates have been made in order to model the relationship between the new value of the tractors, age and depreciation per year.It was determined high-degrees (R²=0.780 p 0.01 level) to adapt the exponential function type tractors and age of the new value as the independent variable, per a year of depreciation as the dependent variable are taken. The relationship is statistically significant. Accordingly; first year depreciation is 14.64% of the value of a new tractor. In subsequent years, this proportion continues decreasing. It has been concluded tractors, even at the end of the 20th year, had lost 72% of the new value and hadn’t achieved scrap value. Park s renewal need is identified.
