Abstract
Studies regarding the roles of insects in human culture are mainly executed under Entomology science. Interesting results arising from the investigation of this roles surprised and amazed people. Insects provided people make beneficial inventions and played significant roles in many areas of human life (food, medicine, fortune, ornament, symbol and entertainment, etc). Instead of being harmful, disgusting and scary, insects have kept significant part of human life and left deep impacts. Many humans are not aware of these roles of insects being important in human life. Therefore, insects whose products are utilized have been represented in this study by arranging issues such as literature, novel, poem, film and play, entertainment and music, child literature and cartoons, public science, dream interpretations, handcrafts and accessories, history, religion, public health, legal cases (forensic entomology), food source and harmful insects.
