Title Of Article :
EFFECT OF DIFFERENT DOSES OF PHOSPHORUS ON THE YIELD AND YIELD COMPONENTS OF SAFFLOWER (Carthamus tinctorius L.)
Abstract :
This study was conducted with Dinçer Safflower variety in Ankara ecological conditions in 2010. The experimental design was randomized complete block design with three replications. Nitrogen doses used in this research were P1= 0, P2= 3, P3 = 6 ve P4= 9 kg/da. Plant height, number of heads per plant, 1000 seed weight, seed yield, oil content, oil yield and fatty acid component were investigated in the experiment. According to results of this research, phosphorus doses was positive impacted on the plant height, number of capitula per plant, 1000 seed weight, seed and oil yield. The most plant height was obtained with P3= 9 kg/da. The maximal seed and oil yield was obtained with P3 treatment.
