Soil surveying, mapping and classification of The Çelikli Basin soils
Abstract :
Physical, chemical and morphological properties of Çelikli Basin soils were determined and detailed soil map was prepared by using GIS and remote sensing possibilities. Field study was performed based on the criteria of Soil Survey Manual and nine soil series have been, described and mapped as Göçyolu, Yedikır, Kurtlutepeönü, Yayla, Yelten, Uluyol, Kevenli, Akardere ve Alıçlı soil series. In the catchment Entisol, Mollisol and Alfisol ordos were defined and classified.
