Abstract
City of Bursa was conquered by The Ottomans in 1326 and built a marketplace out of citadel. Mainly this marketplace has been formed till the end of 16’th century and in general this macroform sustained as a sufficient place for the actors of marketplace for nearly 3,5 centuries. But beginning with a great fire in 1958, also factors of rapid population growth and technological change were forced to reshape this macroform. Our aim is to show how fractal dimensions can be used to measure the sprawling around this macroform.
