Computer Aided Design of Distributed Amplifier
Abstract :
In this study, computer aided design of DC - 2.5 GHz distributed amplifier (DA) is presented. In order to optimize the gain, noise and return losses of distributed amplifier, Microwave Office (MWO) programme is used. For the characterization of amplifier, scattering parameters of transistor which is active device of circuits are utilized. As a result, in DC - 2.476 GHz bandwidth, about 16.64 dB gain is obtained from the simulation of designed circuit. And also, in this bandwidth, noise figure is less than 1.6 dB, input return loss is less than -6 dB, output return loss is less than -8 dB, and stability factor is greater than 1.
