Abstract :
This work describes the study of coil for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) application. Concretely, the principal objective is the design of the highest Q birdcage coil using the eight- coupled microstrip resonator and operating at 200 MHz. The numerical tool has been employed to analyze the inductance and capacitance matrices and the quality factor in terms of the thickness of the microstrip line.
