Abstract :

The aim of this study was to investigate according to some of the characteristics of juvenile Delinquency. These characteristics of juvenile Delinquency is examined under there titles. Such as, offence against property, offense against a person and others offenses (bootlegging, narcotic straffic, terror, etc.). Data in this study were collected by police department at central district of Mersin province. Results showed that between 2005-2009 years the number of offence against property events is 2218, the number of doubtful children is 2929 and children of arrested is 312. The number of offense against a person events is 1584, the number of doubtful children is 1948 and the number of children of arrested is 192. The number of others offenses events is 1072, the number of doubtful children is 1281 and the number of children of arrested is 434.
