Abstract :
The main aim of this research is determine the job satisfaction level of the teachers working in elementary schools according to the opinions of school administrators and teachers. Subaim of the research is to search wheather there is a meaningful difference among the opinions of the participants in terms of the variables of marital status, working hours, position and seniorty. In the research, general scanning model is used. The population of the research includes teachers and administrators working in state elementary schools in the central area of 21 cities, which are located in 7 geographical regions. The sample of the research is composed of 2024 participants. 1888 of the participants are teachers and 136 of the participants are administrators. According to the result of the research, there is a meaningful difference among the participants opinions in terms of the variables of position, marital status, seniority and working hours.
