Abstract :
This study investigated the teachers’ views on the frequencies of primary school students’ classroom misbehaviors. In order to compare teachers’ views following variables were considered: Teacher s gender, age, pre-service education type. 499 teachers from 15 different primary schools located in the central district of Mersin participated to the present study. “Primary School Student Misbehaviors Questionnaire” developed by the researchers was administered to the teachers. In order to compare teachers’ views in terms of their gender t-test, and to compare teachers’ views in terms of their age, and type of the pre-service education one-way ANOVA statistical analyses were used. Significant differences were found among teachers’ views on primary school students’ classroom misbehaviors according to their gender, age, and type of the preservice education.
