Attitudes of Twelfth Grade Students towards Mathematics
Abstract :
In this research, attitudes of twelfth grade students towards mathematics were investigated in terms of gender, high school types and the field graduated from. Sample of research includes 470 male and 365 female, total 835 students in 2009-2010 academic years from four vocational high schools, three Anatolian high schools and three high schools in Tarsus-Mersin. Attitude scale which was developed by Aşkar (1986) was used for data collection. For data analysis, mean, standard deviation, t test and ANOVA were used. Result of this search, significant differences were observed according to some variables.
