Abstract :
This research has aimed to investigate views of science and technology teachers about laboratory equipment, laboratory adequacy and use of laboratory that it has a very important place in science and technology lessons, their tendencies to follow technological innovations and their state to participate or not in in-service training activities about laboratory and technological applications. The research, a descriptive study in general screening model, was carried out in 2008-2009 academic year under Bozok University Mobilim Project with 120 science and technology teachers who work in official primary schools of the Ministry of National Education in Yozgat. The analysis descriptive statistics (frequency, percentage) were used. As a result of the research, it was determined that the biggest barriers to the use of laboratory and technology and experimentation for science and technology teachers were hardware failure and limited lesson time in school program. Additionally, it has emerged that laboratories is also considered beneficial in many ways, though it would have been preferable to the classrooms of experimentation, the vast majority of teachers in the use of laboratory and in-service training they need for the use of technology in education.
